Princess of the Night MetroCon 2015

Once again showing off my Luna cosplay which was Pretty popular at MetroCon.

What I did was take my formal gown that I got for my ninth grade homecoming, and form my costume around it. The wings and wig I got from Yaya Han --and OMG I love the quality of them both-- but had to paint the wings a darker color to match my dress cuz they were too light. I made the Collar out of craft foam, heated it to fit my neck and declate area, primed it with mod podge and painted it with glitter, metallic and glow in the dark paint. The Crown was done with the same technique with the collar but I hot glued a headband to the back of it to stay on my head better. The costume was to be complete with silver gauntlets, but they kept falling off during the day so I wore these silk black gloves to replace them that my boyfriend --Thankfully!-- got for me the day before. So all in all loved how the costume came out and loved my first experience at MetroCon.
